PARTS
Since
receiving our FAA PMA 10 years ago we have been manufacturing new
wing tip lenses for MD80 and DC9 aircraft. We use GE aircraft grade
polycarbonate for all parts that we manufacture. The parts are coated
with an excellent hardcoat that is applied in house to the outer
surface to maintain clarity and increase abrasion resistance.

REPAIR
Many
lenses are discarded when they are damaged. Cracks, cloudiness,
crazing, damage from deicing chemicals, and attachment hole damage
is repaired and a hard coat or protective polish is applied to the
outer surface of the lens to maintain clarity and increase abrasion
resistance. Damaged seals and bushings are replaced. We can repair
most damage and the cost is much less than purchasing a new part.
We do not charge for the initial inspection and evaluation. If the
parts are not repairable we can scrap them at our facility or return
to the customer.
